After
Jo-Ann's move without her "other half", she decided to
put her modeling and photography production knowledge
into full throttle, producing the “2003 Girls of The
South Jersey Shore Calendar”. The very day that it went
into print, she met Trish in Atlantic City. It was true
synergy.
The dynamic duo decided to get together and see how they
sounded singing together. They knew from the first note
that the blend was great. From that moment, Jo-Ann
decided to change her former duo act’s name to “The
Calendar Girls”. However, still wanting to keep
the name “Double Diamond” close at heart, she created
“Double Diamond Productions".
Trish and Jo-Ann first started singing for tips on the
Atlantic City Boardwalk to polish up their act,
and the bookings soon followed with the calendar.
Together they sold 6,000 calendars with some of the
actual calendar models doing the promotions.
The calendars sold out when The Calendar Girls sang at a
Harley Davidson event.
The 2008 Calendar Girl calendar is now in production,
with Trish as Miss May and Jo-Ann as Miss October…
